2026年7月31日、Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel, Bangkok（Library Room 1）にて、「Asia Kendy Odor Measurement Laboratory セミナー」を開催いたしました。

今回のセミナーは、弊社のタイ国事業パートナーであり、共同運営する『Asia Kendy Odor Measurement Lab.』が公益社団法人におい・かおり環境協会の第2種認定事業所に登録されたことを記念し、Asia Kendy Co., Ltd. の主催によって開催されました。

当日は弊社から技術部長（におい・かおり環境協会理事）が登壇し、『嗅覚測定におけるQC/QA（精度管理）』について講演いたしました。 また、Asia Kendy営業担当からは、『消臭剤「エアーサーバー®」を用いた臭気対策事例』なども紹介し、臭気測定から対策に至るまで、実際の事例を交えながら詳しく説明いたしました。

当日は、タイのDIW（工業省工業局）をはじめ、独立行政法人、JICA、金融機関、理化学機器商社、弊社の消臭剤を導入いただいているお客様など、非常に幅広い分野から多くの方にご参加いただきました。

さらに、タイ国内だけでなく、台湾、日本、フィリピンからもわざわざご来場いただいた方々もいらっしゃいました。

セミナーの講演内容だけでなく、休憩時間には会場内に設置した弊社の嗅覚測定器材や消臭剤のデモブースにも多くの方にお立ち寄りいただき、製品や測定方法について終始活発な質問が寄せられました。

おかげさまで、セミナーは大盛況のうちに閉会となりました。

タイの臭気測定のさらなる普及に向けて

タイのDIWでは、日本で開発された三点比較式臭袋法（TOB法）が採用されています。

一方で、タイ国内ではまだこの測定方法が十分に普及しているとは言えません。

今後、TOB法による臭気測定がさらに普及し、それに伴って測定を行うラボも増えていくことで、タイの皆様により良い「におい環境」を提供できるようになると私たちは考えています。

そして、臭気測定ラボを増やしていくためには、測定結果の信頼性を確保するためのQC/QA（精度管理）が不可欠です。

今回のセミナーでは、まさにそのQC/QAについて情報を共有することができました。

そういう意味でも、今回のセミナーは、タイにおける臭気測定のさらなる普及と、測定品質の向上に向けた意義のある一歩になったのではないかと思います。

It has only been a relatively short time since my last update. This is Mr. Noose.

On July 31, 2026, we held the “Asia Kendy Odor Measurement Laboratory Seminar” at Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel, Bangkok (Library Room 1).

The seminar was organized by Asia Kendy Co., Ltd. to commemorate the registration of the Asia Kendy Odor Measurement Lab., which we jointly operate as our business partner in Thailand, as a Type 2 Accredited Odor Measurement Laboratory by the Japan Association on Odor Environment (JAOE).

On the day of the seminar, our General Manager of the Technical Department, who also serves as a Board Member of the Japan Association on Odor Environment, took the stage and gave a presentation on “QC/QA (Quality Control and Quality Assurance) in Olfactory Measurement.”

In addition, a sales representative from Asia Kendy introduced several case studies on odor control using our deodorizing agent, “AirServer®,” providing detailed explanations based on actual cases ranging from odor measurement to odor control solutions.

The seminar was attended by a wide range of participants, including representatives from Thailand’s DIW (Department of Industrial Works), independent administrative agencies, JICA, financial institutions, scientific and laboratory equipment distributors, and customers who have adopted our deodorizing products.

Furthermore, we were honored to welcome participants not only from Thailand but also from Taiwan, Japan, and the Philippines, some of whom traveled specifically to attend the seminar.

In addition to the seminar presentations, many participants visited our demonstration booth during the breaks, where we displayed our olfactory measurement equipment and deodorizing products. We received many active questions and inquiries about our products and measurement methods throughout the event.

Thanks to everyone’s support and participation, the seminar concluded as a great success.

Toward the Further Promotion of Odor Measurement in Thailand

Thailand’s DIW has adopted the Triangle Odor Bag Method (TOB Method), which was originally developed in Japan.

However, this measurement method has not yet become sufficiently widespread throughout Thailand.

We believe that as odor measurement using the TOB Method becomes more widely adopted and the number of laboratories capable of conducting these measurements increases, it will contribute to providing a better odor environment for people in Thailand.

At the same time, QC/QA (Quality Control and Quality Assurance) is essential for ensuring the reliability of measurement results as the number of odor measurement laboratories increases.

At this seminar, we had the opportunity to share information and knowledge specifically regarding QC/QA.

In this sense, we believe that the seminar represented a meaningful step toward the further promotion of odor measurement in Thailand and the improvement of measurement quality.
